The Rat Terrier is a dog all in muscles, active and intelligent. He is easy to train, very able at hunting vermin and an excellent dog as a pet. There are 3 sizes in the standard of the breed. We breed MINIATURE of about 10 pounds.
The Rat Terrier was develop during several years inside the registry of " Universal Kennel Club International ", adopting the Standard of the " National Rat Terrier Association ". After that the breed was also recognized by the United Kennel Club since January 1st,1999. In this breed, we register our dogs in the United Kennel Club as it is not yet in the registry of the Canadian Kennel Club, the finalisation of the development in this breed is recent and there are not many dogs of this breed yet. There are 3 types of ears in this breed, erect, semi-erect and in button.
